Ellie Hino is a Minneapolis-based stand-up comic with a heart of gold. She appeared in 2019’s Limestone Comedy Festival, Boston’s Women in Comedy Festival, and was also featured in the “Best of the Fest” show at 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival. She is a former cast member and writer at the Brave New Workshop Comedy Theater, anchored in satire, sketch, and improvisation. Ellie is a super fun mom, a mediocre wife, and an all-around delight. Her comedy is silly and honest, sometimes focusing on the naked truths of married life and motherhood. Yeah, she lives in the suburbs now, but she’s like, still cool.
Meet your new best friend, Maggie Faris has noted for her ceaselessly cheerful personality and seemingly endless series of quirky, intelligent jokes dissecting our fears and social barriers. With lighthearted material that forces the audience to laugh at their insecurities and prejudices, Maggie Faris is a favorite for a diverse audience of fans – showing that we are all equally goofy human beings. Maggie is the winner of several comedy competitions including the Laugh Off Gender Showdown – the first woman to win the title featuring an impressive list of past competitors including Louie Anderson and Roseanne Barr. She appeared two years in a row on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and won both the Silver Nail award and Funniest Clip of the Year at the Aspen Comedy Festival. Curve magazine named Maggie Faris one of the Funniest Lesbians in America.

Moe (Mohtasham) Yaqub is a young and upcoming comedian from Minneapolis. Moe was born and raised in Pakistan and recently moved to the United States in 2012. Much like his life, his comedic style is wrapped in the hilarity of different stories of transition into the United States. Growing up in Pakistan, he spent many childhood years acting on television. After moving to America, Moe wanted to make the transition back into TV and that venture led him to standup comedy. Moe was the winner of Acme’s Funniest Person contest, Funniest Person in MN, and House of Comedy Funniest Person. Moe is also a producer for the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival in Minnesota.
Mike started his comedy career nearly a decade ago as a doorman at a local comedy club. Since making the leap from the doorman to the stage, Mike has not looked back. He brings his unique style and likeability to comedy clubs and corporate events across America. His exposure to comedy and life on many different levels has allowed him to develop a refreshingly new style. His quick wit and adaptability make him a comedian that everyone will enjoy. Over the years he has hosted three comedy morning shows, added “entertaining the troops” in 2004, and as toured Asia performing in Korea, Japan, and Guam. Once you’ve been exposed to Mike’s infectious style of comedy, you will never be the same!

Ryan Kahl is a stand-up comedian based out of Minneapolis. He is fun-loving, well-meaning, and very nice. Ryan started performing when he was 18, and has since opened for Sean Patton, and some of the best comics in the Midwest. He is a cofounder and coproducer of Clear Water Comedy, a comedy collective in his hometown of Eau Claire, WI. He was also selected as a 2016 Best Of performer at the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival in Minneapolis, MN.
Starting comedy on a whim at an open mic in the year 2000, Mike has since devoted his life to perfecting the delivery of his high-energy act. His genuine passion for his craft draws audience members into the unique world of Mike Brody: An affable, clever guy whose life is often derailed by his own neurotic, obsessive-compulsive and clumsy tendencies. Mike has hosted ten episodes of the Minneapolis lV series The Buzz. He is the official event comedian.
